The Start

The time you spend thinking about the things you haven't done is being wasted not doing those things.

If you get the urge to say something, don't let the moment pass. It will haunt you for a while, but eventually go away. Or...it will stick around and remind you of yet another time you didn't take action.

Focus on the big picture. Don't just live for today. Unless you are going to die today. Then you may want to focus on right now

Always say "please" and "thank you." You will be amazed at the response.

Ok...im not a poet, or musician, actor, etc. I am an artist who had abandoned painting, drawing, tattoos and a social life in order to finish my degree.  I do feel a touch bitter, but I suppose that's alright. It's manageable. I don't continuously look back at the past anymore. I do relish the past, as it has taught me how to be the person I have become. I can't remember where I heard this, but it went something like this: "The past always looks better because it has already been recorded. There is nothing you can do to go back and change it." I think highly of the future now. It wasn't always that way, and I am glad it changed.
